Good to Know
Climate
The climate in Prague and the whole Czech Republic is temperate and quite continental (though not as continental as that of the countries further to the east). There are relatively significant differences in temperatures throughout the year.
Currency
The Czech Republic’s currency is the Czech koruna or Czech crown (Kč / CZK). Exchange of foreign currency is available at airports, train stations, at most hotels, banks and exchange offices.

Language
The official language of the Congress is English.
Personal Insurance
We recommend that all participants take out a personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
Program Changes
The Organizers cannot assume liability for any changes in the program due to external unforeseen circumstances.
Safety
As in all major cities and congress venues, people should take care of their personal belongings. It is not advised to wear your congress badge outside the XXVII IAPRD Congress activities.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not allowed at the venue; the meeting is a non-smoking event.
Visa
The Czech Republic is part of the European Schengen area. The entry formalities for the Czech Republic vary according to the country of origin. A letter of invitation can be issued by the congress and registration office.
